MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (M/F/D)

Our company, EST Edelstahl-Schneidtechnik GmbH, is one of the leading stainless steel service centers on the European market. With a permanent stock of around 8,000 tons of stainless steel and nickel-based sheets, we are a reliable partner for our customers in the field of plasma, waterjet, laser, and saw cutting of stainless, acid- and heat-resistant steels as well as nickel-based alloys.

To strengthen our team at our Hattingen site, we are looking for a committed Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Maintenance, servicing, and repair of all machines and systems used in the company
  • Carrying out all repair and maintenance tasks throughout the company
  • Regular inspections of machines to ensure operational readiness
  • Eliminating technical faults in machines and systems
  • Repairs related to production and administration
  • Compliance with company safety regulations in all work
  • Minimization of downtime through proactive work and quick problem solving
  • Ensuring smooth operations through effective maintenance measures

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Completed training in a technical field (e.g. as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electrician, or comparable)
  • Sound knowledge in maintenance, repair, and servicing of machines and technical systems
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and conscientious way of working
  • Strong technical understanding and manual skills
  • High sense of responsibility and safety awareness
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in interactions with related departments
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Good German language skills, both spoken and written
