Compliance Testing and Material Inspections

At EST Edelstahl-Schneidtechnik GmbH, quality and safety are our top priorities. That’s why we offer comprehensive services in acceptance testing and inspections to ensure your products conform to the highest standards.

Acceptance Testing:

We support you in conducting inspections by recognized institutions and classification societies to guarantee compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

  • Transfer of identification marks (re-stamping) of metallic materials for pressure equipment with inspection certificates:
    • 3.1 Re-stamping by EST Edelstahl-Schneidtechnik GmbH:

      We carry out re-stamping according to DIN EN 764-5, section 6, ensuring seamless traceability of sheet metal cuts for your pressure equipment.
    • 3.2 Re-stamping by TÜV Nord:
      
In cooperation with TÜV Nord, we also offer re-stamping by an independent inspection body.

  • Acceptance testing by classification societies for shipbuilding:

    We assist you with inspections conducted by classification societies such as:
    • Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LRS)
    • Bureau Veritas (BV)
    • Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
    • American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
    • Registro Italiano Navale (RINA)

  • Other third-party inspections (Third Party Inspection – TPI):

    Upon request, we organize and coordinate additional inspections by independent third parties to meet your specific requirements.

Material Testing:

External laboratories and partners enable us to conduct a wide range of destructive and non-destructive material tests to ensure the quality and integrity of your materials.

Our testing services include, among others:

  • Tensile test
  • Impact test
  • Hardness test
  • Through-thickness tensile test
  • Chemical composition analysis (spectral analysis)
  • Corrosion testing
  • Ultrasonic testing to EN and ASTM/ASME standards
  • Grain size determination
  • Additional tests upon request:
